Healthcare Professionals
Healthcare professionals are subject to a wide variety of legal and disciplinary rights and obligations. They also vary enormously in nature and size: our clients come from every part of the health sector (manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biotechnology products, providers of healthcare services, health-focused professional and trade associations, groups of healthcare professionals, health insurers, sponsors and administrators of employee health plans and suppliers of health information technology).
We support healthcare professionals (both domestic and foreign) with their access to the various medical professions, and certifications for (sub)specializations (including rights of establishment). We also represent them in the various procedures held by governmental or professional agencies and bodies (e.g. councils of physicians or the medical commissions). These bodies have their own procedural specificities, requiring yearlong experience and a significant expertise to fully grasp their peculiarities. In addition, given the increased impact of transnational health care regulations, a growing number of cases are brought before European courts and tribunals, such as the Court of Justice or the Court of Human Rights.
