Unlike the situation with litigation before State courts or arbitration, ADR offers in a short period resolution of disputes in a cost-efficient and economic way.  ADR aims at resolving disputes in a satisfactory and mutually advantageous manner by focusing on the parties’ interests and commercial objectives.

Mediation has the great advantage that the parties retain control over the process and the outcome.  It is not a judge or an arbitrator who will determine the outcome, allowing other considerations than legal positions to be taken into account.
