Lydian named Belgium’s Best Law Firm 2018

On 13 November, Lydian was presented with the award for being the Best Law Firm at the Trends Legal Awards. At the gala awards ceremony, held in Brussels for the fifth time under the auspices of business magazine Trends/Tendances, law firms were recognised for their expertise, know-how and innovation. Lydian won the main prize of Best Law Firm in Belgium, having been selected by an independent jury of legal experts in acknowledgement of its overall performance; the trophy was accepted before an audience made up of more than 400 attorneys at law, inhouse counsel and other law practitioners.

Recognition of Lydian’s hard work

To have received the prestigious accolade of Best Law Firm is a great honour for Lydian. Peter De Ryck, Lydian’s Managing Partner: ‘This award comes as the apogee of everything we’ve been building towards for the past 17 years. It is a worthy acknowledgement of the hard work put in by all of our partners, associates and staff. Belgian through and through, a fully independent practice

Lydian is the very first independent Belgian business law practice to have been identified by  the Trends Legal Awards as Best Law Firm. That’s quite an achievement, since it’s no easy task to come out on top against the international giants of advocacy.
