Thomas is a member of our dispute resolution-practice and member of our insurance industry. He advises national and international insurance undertakings and intermediaries on matters related to insurance regulation, distribution and coverage. He represents insurers and their insureds before Belgian courts in coverage and liability disputes.
He holds a PhD in law and is currently professor of insurance law at Ghent University.
Thomas regularly speaks at external seminars on topics related to insurance law and liability.
Thomas is a member of the Brussels bar, the Interuniversity Centre for Liability and Insurance law and the Association des juristes de l’assurance.
