Expertise and experience
Bruno has broad experience in commercial real estate transactions concerning the purchase and sale of real estate properties (asset deal) and real estate companies (share deal) and all legal aspects of project development. He assists clients with the contracting of different types of real estate contracts such as purchase, rent, leasing, contracting, etc. and advises them on strategic commercial matters. In addition, he has solid experience in the field of real estate litigation and construction.
Background
In 2007, Bruno graduated in law at the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL). He then obtained a degree in real estate law at the Catholic University of Brussels (KUB) for the Real Estate Practice in 2008 and added an Executive Master in Real Estate Management (MRE) at the Antwerp Management School (AMS) of the University of Antwerp (UA) in 2014. In 2008, Bruno was admitted to the Brussels Bar.
Publications and speaking engagements
Bruno has contributed extensively to the Kluwer publication “Manual for the Real Estate Developer”, with a focus on the roles of participants in a development (contractor, security coordinator, engineer, project developer, project manager). He also writes for legal periodicals.
He is a key panel member in the firm’s real estate client seminars and is also in demand for outside events on topics such as rent, professional and non-contractual liability, co-ownership, and other developments affecting commercial real estate projects.
