Maxime Colle specialises in all areas of corporate law with a particular focus on public and private M&A, private equity transactions and venture capital work, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, equity capital markets transactions and corporate governance.
Maxime represents (listed) companies, private equity funds and other investors and entrepreneurs. He has extensive experience with the private equity, technology and life sciences sector.
Background
Maxime received his law degree from the University of Ghent (UGent) in 2003. He subsequently studied at the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from which he obtained an LL. M. (Finance) magna cum laude in 2004. Maxime was admitted to the Brussels Bar that same year and started his career at a top-tier Benelux law firm where he was named a partner in 2017. At the beginning of his career, he was seconded to the legal department (Banking & Operations) of Euroclear Bank SA for six months. He joined Lydian as a partner in 2020.
