Lydian assisted Dense Air in its partnership with Belgium's operators Citymesh and Digi

Lydian had the pleasure of assisting Dense Air in their partnership with Belgian operators Citymesh and DIGI, who have announced their plans to accelerate and enhance their 5G small cell strategy.

The recent acquisition of Dense Air Belgium earlier this year added 45MHz of prime 4G/5G spectrum to Citymesh/Digi's portfolio, further strengthening their position. As a global shared network infrastructure provider, Dense Air Networks will play a crucial role in the deployment of a high-speed, high-capacity nationwide 5G network through their unique RAN-as-a-Service solution and cellShare neutral host platform, particularly in densely populated areas where macro cell sites are not feasible.

The Lydian team was led by Bastiaan Bruyndonckx, CIPP/E (Partner, ICT) and Florence Colpaert (Counsel, Corporate M&A).

From a corporate perspective, Lydian has assisted Dense Air Ltd. in the drafting and negotiation of the Term Sheet and SPA for the sale of 100% of the shares of Dense Air Belgium BV, which has now been renamed Citymesh Air BV. Florence Colpaert (Counsel, Corporate M&A) and Louise Berrier (Associate, Corporate M&A) provided invaluable assistance to the seller in this transaction. Telecom specialist Bastiaan Bruyndonckx, CIPP/E (Partner, ICT), with the support of Françoise Billen (Associate, ICT) and Thibault Boscart (Associate, ICT), assisted Dense Air Ltd. with the drafting and negotiation of the Small Cells Master Services Agreement, embedding the continuous collaboration between Dense Air and Citymesh .

We are honoured to have played a part in this exciting partnership between Citymesh, Digi, and Dense Air Networks, and are pleased to see the industry taking steps towards improving connectivity for people and businesses alike.
