Lydian advised BlueAlp on a strategic partnership with Borealis

We are proud to share that Lydian advised BlueAlp, the Dutch pioneer in chemical recycling technologies, on a strategic partnership with Borealis, a leading global provider of innovative and circular polyolefin solutions, chemicals and fertilizers.

As part of the transaction, a majority stake in Renasci, an Ostend-based chemical recycling plant is transferred to BlueAlp while Borealis takes a minority participation in BlueAlp.

This transaction strengthens BlueAlp’s international footprint and growth, and supports the further development of chemical recycling solutions in Europe. 

Our team, composed of Peter De Ryck (Corporate Partner) and Louise Berrier (Corporate Senior Associate), provided Belgian legal support to BlueAlp throughout the transaction.
