Lydian successfully assisted Ecclesia with the sale of its operations in Belgium to Specialist Risk Group

We are proud to share that the Corporate and Insurance teams at Lydian assisted Ecclesia in connection with the sale of its operations in the Netherlands and Belgium to Specialist Risk Group (SRG), a leading London-based insurance broker.

As part of this transaction, Ecclesia also becomes a shareholder in SRG, alongside Warburg Pincus, Temasek, and SRG’s management team. This unique shareholding structure lays the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership aimed at accelerating growth across Europe and beyond.

Our team, composed of Florence Colpaert (Partner), Louise Berrier (Senior Associate) and Maxine Daems (Associate), advised on the corporate aspects of the transaction, with Sandra Lodewijckx (Partner) providing expertise on the insurance side.
